Hello
It has been too long since we wrote in our blog. Many portraits, weddings, parties have gone by. Today we have to stop and express what goes beyond words. Simply put, we need to be grateful for all things in our lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you God! Our dreams have come true. We use our skills, tools, personalities and our passion to create photos that are loved and memorable for years to come for our clients and their family and friends. Thank you, thank you to our children for all their support and patience. It is only with them that we have been able to accomplish our goals. They wait patiently by our sides while we wait for the light. These photos displayed here are for them, we love you. To all our friends and family thank you for your prayers and support with everything from babysitting to a shoulder to lean on. To all our clients past present and future, thank you for trusting us with your memories it is truly a blessing, to be trusted by some many with such important moments!! Thank you & God Bless all!

Sorry it's been so long since I've written in my Blog but things have been very chaotic. We recently photographed Mary and Scott's Wedding. Their reception was at Santana Row and I love the photos I took of them. Their a great couple. In our prewedding conversation they were stressed out and I said "It's your day, relax if you have any problems, let Uncle Vinnie and Aunty Denise take care of it for you." I think we only had to run and get the bouquet twice, other than that it was a BLAST!
I have also been photographing many families for their portraits. We've set up our portrait back drop and lighting in our home studio, we've set it up at our clients homes, we've been to the beach and parks and even in front of the church. And I must say we had fun with each and everyone. We also donated 2 portrait sessions to St. John Vianney's Holiday Boutique silent auction, Congratulations to the winners!
I also did my first art show which was not as rewarding for me as the wedding, portraits and events I normally do. I love watching my clients smile for the camera and smile even bigger when they see the finished product. But I gave it a try and I learned a lot. My daughter says "you always tell me all I have to do is try, so dad if you tried that's all that mattered." So guess I got my delayed reward after all ~ My daughter using my words on me! Love 'em!
Happy Holidays to everyone from your Photographer For Life!

Oh my, it's been awhile. We have been so swamped this wedding season. We love it! We have had some spectacular couples. This was one of them - Lisa & Ike. We really enjoyed their wedding, there was a so much love there. What a great group of friends and family too!! I have to say we enjoy all of our weddings, but I hardly ever cry at them. At this one I shed a few tears. You guys are great!!

Sorry this week's blog is a little late. We have been trying to stream line our business so we spend more time with the family and less time in front of the computer. We had to battle the fog at this weeks engagement shoot. Amanda, my daughter made the best of it by shooting the bridge in the fog. Athena grew these tomatos for me and photographed them. They look good enough to eat!
We are also happy to announce we have found a videographer that compliments our photography. Check out the link to the videography page above :)

Wow, what a great day yesterday! It was a little tiring, but it was worth it! We photographed Jessica and Al’s wedding in Walnut Creek. We knew it was going to good because we had such a fun time with Jessica & Al at the engagement shoot, it was even better than good, it was awesome! Jessica did a great job with her planning. The settings were beautiful-Heather Farms’ elegant tranquility with all the roses in bloom and Scott’s Gardens’ delightful food and ambience was amazing. She had a great crew and we instantly connected with their videographer. What a great guy. We have worked with a lot of people but this guy is the BEST!
After we finished with the wedding, we headed off to Hollister (the distance from Walnut Creek to Hollister is about 2 hours), to catch the last bit of Denise’s family reunion. When we got there it was almost over but Denise got to see a lot of her family she hasn’t seen in many, many years. I got to capture some candids of the family that will be remember forever. The kids were there already with Grandma and they got to meet and play with cousins they didn’t know they had. We got in LATE and were exhausted and happy at the same time.

It was an emotional day. I was asked to photograph a funeral. I feel very honored that the Sias family invited to share very private and personal moments. I was a bit nervous because I had never photographed a funeral before and I didn’t want to impose on the family’s private moments. Our prayers and hearts go out to the Sias family.
Mr. Sias was so admired and loved in the community he had 3 priests at his mass. One of those priests was Father Donald McDonnell, who inspired Cesar Chavez in 1960 and who also married Denise’s parents 50 years ago. I was so excited to photograph him. So, I’m sitting in the back of the church with a 100-400 mm lens zooming in on him, getting some great shots. All of the sudden my camera stops with an error message 99. I looked at Denise and she instantly knew there was a problem. She grabbed the other camera bag and handed me my back up camera. I switched the lens to the back up and we were back in business. Thank God for back ups!! This was my brand new camera (I just purchased it in April) and I couldn’t believe it malfunctioned on me. I thought for sure the old would go before the new. I called Canon when we got back in and they couldn’t figure out the problem, so we had to send it back. I will be 2-3 weeks without my baby. I think I will go camera shopping tomorrow, if Denise lets me. For all you pro photographers this is why it a back up camera is essential in you camera bag.

Hello, this is my first blog. So here it goes. I would like to thank my assistant/wife for all her help and support. Without her, there would be no blog or Passion Art Photography. I would also like to thank God and my family for everything. Last but not least, I would like to thank all my clients for trusting me to capture so many precious moments. It has been a great time and I look forward to photographing so much more.
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of photographing a comedian, by the name of Pharoah, this was a blast. He is such a nice guy, down to earth and funny. Look for him, he is going places. He is also opening a comedy club in Oakland some time soon called Pharoah's Club. Check it out
http://www.pharaohenterprise.com. Well, that is it for now, more to come so check back and leave a message if you like.
